Spaulding Youth Center has a part-time opportunity with our residential team as a Residential Assistant. This role supports behaviorally-challenged students, ages 5-21 years old, with neurological impairments including autism, intellectual disabilities, emotional disorders and those who have experienced significant trauma, abuse or neglect.

Our opening is for 5am to 9am, Monday through Friday. Primary responsibility for this Residential Assistant role is to provide direct care and supervision to students during non-school hours. The Residential Assistant will assist the students as they transition into their daily routines.

Applicants must be compassionate, reliable and have a high level of personal integrity and be able to learn to consistently follow through with treatment strategies to help our students achieve success. CPR/First Aid, Professional Crisis Management and other trauma-focused certifications are required, but can be obtained through Spaulding training programs. Prior experience working with developmentally and/or emotionally challenged individuals is preferred, but we are willing to train individuals looking for a career that will change lives. Applicants are required to be 21 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED.
